Lorraine Imbarlina-Ramos is a Registered Social Worker and Psychotherapist and a member of the Ontario College of Social Workers and Social Service Workers. With over 20 years of clinical experience, she has worked with children, teens, adults, families, couples, and groups on a wide range of issues, such as depression, anxiety, trauma, stress management, self-esteem, substance abuse, relationship challenges, parenting, life transitions, and grief and loss.
Lorraine currently supports teens (aged 13+) and adults. She uses an eclectic approach to working with clients, incorporating therapeutic modalities such as Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), Brief Solution-Focused Therapy, Family Systems Therapy, Psychodynamic Therapy, Trauma- Focused CBT, Narrative Therapy, and Mindfulness-Based interventions.
Lorraine views it as a privilege to be part of her clients’ healing journeys and offers them a safe space to feel seen, heard, and respected. She draws on personal experiences, which help her connect with clients in an honest, sensitive, kind, compassionate, non-judgmental, caring, and insightful manner that puts them at ease.

Whatever your reason, Lorraine believes that your decision to start therapy is a sign of strength, a belief that problems can become more manageable, and that life can be more fulfilling. Her goal is to serve as a professionally trained ally in your therapy to help foster growth, healing, and wholeness.
In her spare time, Lorraine enjoys spending time outdoors, reading, listening to music, playing pool, and being with friends and family.
