Brainspotting

Brainspotting involves identifying specific points in a person's visual field associated with emotional activation, known as "brainspots." During a brainspotting session, the client's gaze is directed to these spots while focusing on distressing issues.  This stimulates the brain's self healing mechanisms, facilitating the processing and resolution of unresolved trauma and emotional pain. By harnessing the connection between eye movements and the brains limbic system, brainspotting promotes deep healing and emotional release.  It can effectively access and process trauma-related memories and emotions, leading to symptom reduction, emotional regulation, and enhanced psychological well-being.
